BLACKFACE: The Mass Media Rape of the Mind (Audio + PDF)

Dive deep into the images used to psychologically and emotionally manipulate the minds of Black people worldwide

In this second segment of our two part course we build on the insights we explored in Yurugu: The White Threat to Black Survival.

Using the uniquely american performance art of blackface minstrelsy as our frame, we expose how contemporary tv, movie, music, news, sports, and pornographic media reinforces dehumanizing stereotypes about Black people. The ultimate goal of this media assault is to demoralize and destroy the Black family unit.

This course also aims to provide practical, achievable goals to resisting mass media indoctrination so that we can return to African principles of living designed to protect our culture at all costs.
